Okay, since we’re a book club, we figured maybe we’d read some books. And review them. We know, this is a totally unique concept but that’s how we roll out here in Selkirk. We are nothing if not cutting edge.
So anyway, here’s how it works. We meet once a month and go through a stack of new books and then we…read them. Yep. Can’t avoid reading in a book club. And we also have a snack, sometimes lemon cake. Maybe donuts. If we’re really lucky, chocolate.
Next we sit down to talk about what we read. This involves a lot of laughing, ridiculous jokes, origami rabbits and hiding under the table. When we’ve pulled ourselves together, we write our reviews, which we will post here on our new blog. You can comment, agree/disagree, or make your own origami rabbits…
